ABOUT US
Praise School of Ministry (PSM) exists to help students discover and cultivate the call of God on their life. Unlike our Bible Institute, this program isn’t for everyone. It’s specifically designed to launch students into full time vocational ministry. Whether you sense a call to pastoral ministry, evangelism or even the international mission field, we’ll get you prepared for success.
In just two years you’ll gain valuable experience, fulfill the educational requirements for licensing with the Assemblies of God and earn an associate degree through the Praise Bible Institute’s matriculation agreement with Life Christian University. You’ll gain new perspective through a Global Expedition where you will minister in a foreign country and experience the realities of ministry alongside veteran leaders in the Body of Christ.

Praise School of Ministry is part of Praise Education, a ministry of Praise Family Church.
REQUIREMENTS
· Approval through the application process (space is limited and priority is given to members of PFC)
· Agreement with the beliefs of PSM as outlined in the Praise Family Church Statement of Faith
· Proof of high school graduation or equivalent for enrolment
· Attendance at Praise Family Church services and special ministry functions
· Reliable transportation
· Ability to pay tuition (monthly payment plans are available)
· Commitment to the PSM schedule and process
· Second year students will need a passport for international travel
· Adherence to the PSM code of conduct
APPLICATION PROCESS
Complete the online application (pay special attention to explaining your calling to ministry)
Interview with one of our staff members (can be conducted via video call if outside the Mobile area)
Receive an official acceptance letter
Apply and pay application fees to both the Praise Bible Institute and the Alabama Ministry Network School of Ministry.
WORKING
Students may have a part-time job during their PSM journey. We arrange the schedule so that they can work in the morning until noon. Alternately, they could work Monday and Saturday with an adjusted schedule. This work must not interfere with their studies or the PSM program.

· Study hall with Instructors, a forum time to ask questions

· Ministry practicum (includes writing sermons, planning and conducting outreaches, learning pastoral care)
