From March 3rd to 8th, we’re having PFC Sail Away 2025. If you haven’t heard of the Sail Away before, it’s when we invite the entire PFC family to go on a cruise during the week of Mardi Gras.
The PFC Lawn Care Team handles our weekly lawn maintenance on a rotating basis. This ministry is a vital part of making our church campus as welcoming to guests as possible.
PFC Grands, our ministry for anyone 50 or older, will be attending The Retreat from May 5th to 8th in Springville, AL. If you enjoy bingo, fishing, shopping, and good fellowship, this is the event for you. The cost is $170 and you must sign up by April 6th.

On February 20th, they’re having their monthly Thursday Classic service. This time, they’ll have a devotion from Pastor Brandon and a fish fry afterward. This event is free and no sign up is necessary.
On Friday, February 14th, PFC is hosting a Married Couples Valentine’s Banquet, right on the PFC campus. If you’re a married couple, join us for a catered dinner, games, a photo booth, and more. The cost is $60 a couple, and you must reserve your spot by February 4th.
If you’re college-aged or in your twenties, you need to get involved with PFC Young Adults, and there’s no easier time than on Sunday, February 2nd at 5pm, when they’ll be roasting smores and hotdogs over an open fire.
Pastor Tom Turner has led PFC for 30 years, and during our Sunday Services at 8:45 and 10:30 am, we’re going to honor him for everything he’s done over the last three decades.
We’ll also be joined by special guest speaker, Dr. John Easter.
If you are dealing with the long-term affects of chronic disease, our Healing Strong group may be for you. Their mission is to connect, support, and educate individuals who are facing cancer and other diseases by focusing on strategies that help to rebuild the body, renew the soul and refresh the spirit through God’s Word.
Thursday, January 16 at 10:30 am, PFC Grands is attending the Alabama Senior Adult Ministries at Fountain of Life for a time of Worship, Devotion, & Lunch. .
If you are fifty or older, PFC Grands is a special ministry designed with you in mind. They’ll depart from the PFC campus for this free event at 10:30 am.

You won’t find a better spot to park and view the 2024 Dawes Christmas Parade than right on the PFC campus! On top of that, Dave’s Fair Foods will be set up on-sight.

In addition to inviting as many people as possible, you can help us make this year’s Community Christmas Party our biggest outreach ever by signing up to serve. Don’t worry: you won’t have to miss out on all the fun if you offer to help. Each volunteer serves for half of the event, meaning they’re free to enjoy the Community Christmas Party during the other half. It’s a win-win.
Praise Kids is having a Christmas Movie Night with popcorn and hot cocoa during their normal class time on Wednesday, December 11. Each Praise Kid is encouraged to wear their PJs so they can get into the cozy Christmas spirit.
There’s no need to sign up for this free event, just bring your favorite holiday dish and a wrapped ornament for the gift exchange.

PFC is launching into the Christmas season with the Grand Lighting of the Lights at PFC. Join us on November 24th at 6 PM, as we flip the switch on our thousands and thousands of Christmas lights. Dave’s Fair Foods will be there, and you’ll be able to take a train ride through the lights.
