PFC CREATIVE NEEDS YOU!
One of the most important volunteer ministries at our church is PFC Creative which consists of our entire media team. They’re the ones behind the scenes who operate cameras, run sound, control lighting, monitor our live stream, and manage the computers that are a crucial part of our Sunday morning services.
You don’t have to be a computer wizard to be part of our team. In fact, we want to train you.
There are multiple ways to serve with PFC Creative, and many of the opportunities are more reliant on being detail-oriented, communicative and teachable than being tech savvy.
The Future is Calling. As our church becomes more and more reliant on technology, our PFC Creative team only grows.

Praise Kids: Farewell Pool Party
If you have a fifth grader who is moving up to sixth grade this fall, your child is invited to the Praise Kids Farewell Pool Party on August 2. This is a free event for all fifth graders who will be moving into PFC Youth when the school year starts. They’ll be swimming and enjoying hot dogs and hamburgers. To be included, you must sign your child up by July 19.
Family Sabbatical Week
We’re having a Family Sabbatical Week from August 3 - 7.
This means the PFC office will be closed during the week.
Our staff spends this extra time with their families, and we hope you’ll do the same.
Even though our office will be closed, we’re always one phone call away.
In case of emergencies, you can reach a pastor on call at (251)639-1959.
Prayer at PFC
Join us for Prayer at PFC from 5 to 6 PM on Sunday, August 9. We won’t have childcare available, but children are welcome to participate in prayer.
PFC Men: Breakfast with the Bros
PFC Men is hosting Breakfast with the Bros on Saturday, August 15. This is a free event for just the fellas where they’ll have breakfast and hangout here at the church. If you want to attend, you must sign up so they’ll know you’re coming.
PFC Ladies - Outpour Women's Conference
Ladies, mark your calendars for Outpour Ladies Conference on Friday, August 21st at Refuge Church. This will be a powerful night of worship, fellowship, and a message from guest speaker, Lisa Bevere.
PFC Expeditions - Malawi
PFC Men is taking a construction-focused Expedition to Malawi, Africa.
If you’re a man 19 or older, this could be your chance to see the work God is doing in Africa.
PFC Ladies - Engage Women's Retreat
From September 10 - 12, PFC Ladies will be attending the Engage Women’s Retreat in Springville, AL. This retreat will feature guest speaker Susanne Cox and a wide range of activities including swimming, a zipline, paddle boats, karaoke, shopping, and more.
PFC Men - Alabama Men's Encounter
PFC Men will be attending the Alabama Men’s Encounter in Springville, AL from September 16 - 19. In addition to powerful nightly services, this retreat has all kinds of outdoor activities like bass fishing, golf, cornhole, skeet shooting, and more.
The cost is $175 per person (some activities cost extra), and you must sign up by September 6 to be included.

PFC Worship will lead us in a special time of music as we celebrate summer with our PFC Family.

At Praise Family Church, we love freedom, and on July 1, we’ll be exercising our God-given American right to fill the sky with a dazzling display of insane explosions.
The best part? This event is free, and everyone’s invited regardless of where (or if) they attend church.

PFC Youth is going to Camp from June 22 to 26 in Springville, AL.
Zip-lining, swimming, incredible services–Youth Camp has it all.
Father's Day at PFC 2026
On Sunday, June 14, we’re celebrating Father’s Day at PFC. Every dad in attendance will get to spin a prize wheel and participate in a one-throw cornhole challenge to win up to $250 in cash money.
If you’re a father, be there. If you have a father, bring them.
PFC Game Night
On Friday, June 19 at 6 PM, we’re hosting a Game Night in the PFC Lobby for anyone 18 or older. This is a free event, and we’ll provide coffee and water, but you’re encouraged to bring your favorite games and a snack to share.
We will have babysitting available for $5 per child, but you must register your child and pay with the form linked below.

PFC Revival Night
On Wednesday, June 3, we’re having PFC Revival Night during our normal service time at 6:30 PM. PFC Revival Night is a special monthly service with powerful prayer, exciting music from PFC Worship, and a dynamic message. We’ll have classes for ages 5th grade and below, and everyone else will be together in the sanctuary.
PFC Men - Crawfish Boil Brodown
Let’s face it: Sometimes, men just need a space where they can be men.
That’s why PFC Men is hosting the Crawfish Boil Brodown on May 31 at 5 PM at the PFC Pavilion. As you probably guessed, they’ll be pigging out on crawfish, and no women will be there to enforce table manners.
PFC Ladies Outing - The Lucky Rabbit
The next PFC Ladies outing is on Saturday, May 30, and they’ll be going to The Lucky Rabbit in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. This store carries antiques, vintage treasures, handmade goods, and more. If you’re a lady, join them for a fun day of fellowship, laughter, and—most importantly— shopping.

Mother's Day at PFC
This Sunday, we’re celebrating Mother’s Day at PFC. Every mom in attendance at our morning services at 8:45 and 10:30 am will get a gift from us to thank them for everything they do, so if you’re a mom, make sure you’re here. PFC would truly not be a Family church without all of the mothers who call this home.
PFC Grands - The Retreat 2026
If you are 50 or older, PFC Grands is a ministry for you!
Join PFC Grands as they enjoy the beauty of nature that Springville Camp & Conference Center offers along with meaningful fellowship and fun at The Retreat 2026. Activities include: bingo, zip-lining, fishing, canoeing/paddle boating, shopping, nature walks and more.
PFC Expeditions - Italy
In addition to our church supporting international projects with our Kingdom Builders fund, we send PFC Expeditions all over the globe to be the “hands and feet” of the work God is doing internationally.
Our PFC Expedition to Italy in May 2026 will involve a team doing important work with our missionaries in northern Italy as well as visiting local churches, eating incredible food, and shopping in Milan.
PFC Family Day
After church on Sunday, April 26th, we’re having PFC Family Day.
We’ll have inflatables, lawn games, and food under the PFC Pavilion, and everyone’s invited.
PFC Ladies Tea Party
PFC Ladies is hosting a Tea Party on Saturday, April 25 at 11 am, and if you’re a lady over the age of 18, you’re invited!
No Wednesday Night Service
We won’t have service on Wednesday, April 22 as our entire pastoral staff will attend the Alabama Ministry Network’s annual conference. This is an important event that impacts our church, so pray for our leaders as they make crucial decisions that influence the work God is doing across Alabama.

Family Sabbatical Week
We’re having a Family Sabbatical Week from April 13 - 17 to celebrate Spring Break.
This means we won’t have service on Wednesday, April 15, and the PFC office will be closed during the week.
Discipleship 101
You don’t have to start your journey alone!
If you’re a new believer, Discipleship 101 is a class designed to help you start your walk with Christ. This four-week course will teach you the basics of what it means to be a Christian.

Easter at PFC 2026
